When are you most energetic? #NaBloPoMo

I’ve shared with you where I draw my personal energy from, what my daily energy drains are, my favorite way to recharge, and now I will share when I feel most energetic.

As I mother of three, most days I feel like I am going from sunup to sundown, and then some. I often times find that I have more energy first thing in the morning between 5am-8am. I believe that energy comes from getting a good nights sleep without any interruptions. Though I am never really too productive during that time! I get short bursts of productive energy throughout my day with the help of music and a relaxing bath. But I am always energized and extremely productive between the hours of 4 pm and 9 pm. I get my second wind once the kids are home from school and the day is coming to a close. After helping the kids with any homework, I get dinner wrapped up.

The kids’ favorite board game this month

After dinner we normally play a game or two either on the WII or one of the many board games that they have accumulated. Then come baths and bed, I am never up more than two hours after the kids are in bed, because I know that 4:30 comes awful early! The hours before bed are just for me and the hubby to catch up on our day and spend a little bit of time together.

So, at what time(s) of the day do you find yourself most energetic and productive?

Energy Drained? How do you recharge? #NaBloPoMo

I’ve shared with you where I draw my personal energy from, what my daily energy drains are and today I will share with you my favorite way to recharge when I feel drained!

My Dream Bathtub

If you have been reading along with this NaBloPoMo you know that I draw personal energy from music throughout my day, but there are days when no matter what music I put on, I just can not motivate myself enough to do anything. I know on those days that the best thing for me to do to recharge is to take a nice peaceful bath! Normally before the kids get home, because otherwise I’ll never get that sought after peace, I fill the tub to *almost* overflowing with this nifty little Deep Water Bath tool, then I light some Lavender Aromatherapy Candles, plug my I-Pod into the Color Changing Portable Mono Speaker that I received for my birthday and dim the lights.
I have found that being able to fill the tub fuller allows for a better coverage of water which helps to relax more of my muscles, the candles smell wonderful and the lavender really helps to sooth and calm me. And as you can tell, music follows me everywhere, I would be lost without my rechargeable speaker and my docking station for my I-Pod. I will sometimes change things up and drop in some bath salts, but normally it’s just me, the water, music and candles!

So, when you find yourself drained of energy, how do you recharge?
