Biannual Blogathon Bash Update 1 #blogathon2

22 June 2012
As part of the Biannual Blogathon Bash I've been working on my blog most of the day.. Here is a break down of everything that has gone on so far:

Biannual Blogathon Bash

I started working on the blog at 11:15 am (EST). Took a break to play with the kids after lunch (1-3 p.m.) Then back to working until dinner (6-7 p.m.) Worked a little until bath and bedtime (8-9 p.m.) And now at 2:00 am I am hitting the hay...

So I worked on the blog and mini challenges for a total of  10 hrs and 45 minutes. Not bad for a days work!!

My Favorite Wedding Day Photos

I normally don't talk about the things going on in my life on the blog. But this past May 18th, I finally married my best friend. It was a simple ceremony with just the kids and our moms. My dress wasn't the normal white/ivory/creme that most brides wear. But here are a few of my favorite wedding day photos taken by a close friend of ours.

We have been together for almost 7 years and decided in March that we were going to get married before the summer started. I had a heck of a time getting everything together, but once I had the dress I knew that the really hard part was over!! I knew walking into the dress place that I didn't want anything white (I've been married once before) and anything I was wearing had to be light and airy as we were having the ceremony outside. I fell in love with the dress the moment I put it on! I loved the simplicity of our vows and the setting couldn't have been better!

One of the challenges in the Blogathon is to create a photo collage using Pic Monkey. This is the coolest program and now that I have found it, I will definitely be using it more!

Biannual Blogathon Bash Kick Off #blogathon2

Biannual Blogathon Bash

The Biannual Blogathon Bash starts today and I’m joining in on the fun! It’s a 72 hour event where bloggers get as much work as they can on their blogs. There’s mini challenges, Twitter parties and prizes for participants! There’s still time to join in. Check out all the details on the Blogathon Bash site.

Here are a few things I hope to get accomplished:

  • Get caught up on reviews

  • Organize my calendar

  • Update links/photos in older posts

  • Catch up on emails ( this could take a day)

  • Schedule some non-giveaway posts that *should* get us through the next few weeks.

I plan to participate in as many mini-challenges as possible, but I have my Mom's birthday today and a friend's wedding tomorrow where I will be in charge of all the music (Yay me...).

Remember that is isn't too late to sign up!!!
