Angela's Crafts Gift bag Giveaway (OVER) US only

28 April 2012

This review was written by Bargain Hound:

I have had the great opportunity to review some hand made soaps from Angela's Crafts. I just LOVE natural, home made soaps!

They arrived in this beautiful purple and gold sheer fabric bag. Each bar of soap was wrapped in green tissue paper, with a label on the front. I was unsure what scents she was sending me. When I opened each little gift (they felt like little presents!), I found out that Angela had read on my blog that I love Patchouli, and to my surprise, she sent me 2 different Patchouli scents - regular Patchouli and Lavender Patchouli, and Sandalwood. It was love at first smell. ♥

I can't tell you how much we love the Patchouli scent in our home. We absolutely love it. The problem is, it seems it's hard to find products in this scent, for some reason. So we were very happy to have some Patchouli soap in the house again. And to be honest with you, I don't think I could even tell you which scent we loved more. The Lavender Patchouli was a combination I had never smelled before and it was heavenly! And the Sandalwood, wow... they just all smelled so good!!

But, what good is soap if they don't work, right? Well let me tell you, that is not an issue with soap from Angela's Crafts. Her soaps lather up very nicely, they left us feeling very fresh and clean, and left NO residue (which is a pet peeve of mine). I hate it when soap leaves your skin feeling like there's a film on it. This soap was WONDERFUL. And did I mention how wonderful they smelled? I couldn't stop smelling it on my boyfriend. We'd be sitting on the couch and I'd reach over and just sniff him, LOL. He says he wants this in the house all the time!

But, if you don't like Patchouli, don't worry, Angela makes LOTS of other scented soaps. And she doesn't just make soaps, either. She makes bath bombs, jewelry and yarn crafted items!

Her website is Angela's Crafts and her store can be found on Art Fire, also check out her Facebook page, and her Etsy shop!

Mom ME Time Sponsor: Savvy-Cents Coupon Wallet

From the Website:

The Savvycents wallet is not only functional but also fashionable. It contains everything you need to organize your monthly or weekly budget using a cash system. With an accordion style file system inside the wallet you can separate money, coupons, receipts or store discount cards by categories. Your wallet comes with file cards where you can label each category with our pre-printed labels. There are also blank labels where you can customize your wallet based on your personal categories. You no longer have to carry envelopes or zip lock bags to separate your money and coupons. Your change will fit nicely in a coin pocket located on the backside of the wallet.

It also has 6 pockets for debit cards and store discount cards. On the opposite side there is a place for your driver's license and a place for your checkbook. Each wallet is roughly 8" x 4"

I received the coupon wallet in the fun Polka Dot pattern. Since I am not a "major" couponer, I wasn't sure if I would get a whole lot of use out of this beauty. But I realized with planning my wedding, I ended up with coupons for a few places that I shop for supplies in my DIY endeavors. After using the included labels I separated what coupons I had and the cash that I had set aside for certain items. I used a blank label for the wedding and all the money that is specifically for that fits nicely in the section.
I love that I can keep everything separated and I know that by having a specific amount of money set aside will be easier than heading to the store with my debit card; at least this will help me stay within our budget!
The area for the cards is great! I love having all of my store reward cards right there! No more having to search my key ring for just the right card! I have become a lot more organized thanks to this little gem, and really.. I don't know how I've gotten this far without it!!
