Pretty Crooked by Elisa Ludwig #Giveaway

Pretty Crooked by Elisa Ludwig

Book Summary:

Willa's secret plan seems all too simple.
Take from the rich kids at valley prep and give to the poor ones.
Yet Willa's turn as Robin Hood at her new high school is anything but. Bilking her "friends"—known to everyone as the Glitterati—without them suspecting a thing is far from easy. Learning how to break into lockers and Beemers is as hard as she'd thought it would be. Delivering care packages to the scholarship girls, who are bullied just for being different, is more fun than she'd expected.
The complication Willa didn't expect, though, is Aidan Murphy, VP's most notorious ace-degenerate. His mere existence is distracting Willa from what matters most to her—evening the social playing field between the haves and have-nots. There's no time for flirting, especially with conceited trust-funders like Aidan. But when the cops start investigating the string of thefts at Valley Prep and the Glitterati begin to seek revenge, could Aidan wind up being the person that Willa trusts most?
Elisa Ludwig's Pretty Crooked is the first book in an adventurous teen caper series filled with mystery, humor, and heart.

Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler #Giveaway (OVER) US/CN

This review is written by Bargain Hound:

I have had the opportunity to review a Rubbermaid Hidden Recycler! I love the design of this cool gadget. It is large enough to hold all of our recyclables, but compact enough to hide under our kitchen sink! We used to have an ugly, out of place plastic container for our recyclables (and sometimes stuffed them in plastic bags), but this is so much nicer! No one has too look at our ugly recyclables anymore. In fact, this hidden recycler is actually very nice looking, and I wouldn't mind it if people could see it. But, it's designed to be hidden and it does a great job. You just throw your recyclables in it, and when it gets full, just lift the plastic handle and it slides off the door, and you can empty it into your larger recycle bin outside, in the garage, or wherever you store them. Then it just slides right back into place on the door. And although it's compact, it holds quite a bit. I am very impressed with this little recycler! And Rubbermaid makes the best products. When it says Rubbermaid, you know it's going to be made well!

Girls Halloween Costume from #Review

I normally start searching online for the kids' costumes around June, this year, with the wedding planning and a vacation coming up I knew that I needed to start earlier. Enter Sassy always wants to be a witch, has ever since she could say what it was she wanted to be; and I always cave and let her have her way. This year, I knew that I was going to have to fight with her on the costume again, can't she at least change it up a little? Well, we sat for two days looking over all of the costumes, and while she liked the Princess Costumes and even the Superhero Costumes, we once again decided on a Witch. I tried to get her to choose one of the cutesy Candy Corn witch costumes, but she wanted to have a blue outfit, so we settled on the Girls Funky Punk Witch Costume, which at the time showed blue accents.
Over the next few days Sassy would ask, " Is my costume here yet?" I was never so excited to see the mailman as I was the day he brought her costume! After taking pictures of the costume in the package, and hiding it from Sassy until her homework was done, we set out to try everything on to make sure that it fit.

Sassy fell in love with it before I even took it out of the package, and was jumping around singing, " my witch is here, my witch is here".  The costume was a little tighter than I would have liked and a "lot" shorter, but overall Sassy loved it and that is what matters. We ordered a size Med (8-10) and I figured since she was just getting into a size 8 this would still fit come Halloween, now I'm not so sure. Everything  except for the stockings and shoes is included with the costume, which makes purchasing a lot easier and cheaper in the long run ( $29.99 on clearance right now).

Sassy will have to wear a tank top underneath the costume and the stockings that we bought. I'm just hoping it still fits come October! Make sure that you ALWAYS order a size larger than your child wears now if you are like me and shop early. is a great place to purchase costumes, they have amazing prices and great special promotions most of the time. Right now you can get free shipping on orders over $39.99 or more, but the shipping is normally only $4.99 flat rate, so either way it is a steal compared to hitting the stores the week before Halloween!

I received one or more of the products mentioned above for free using Regardless, I only recommend products or services I use personally and believe will be good for my readers.
