Mixbook Holiday Cards {Review}

13 October 2011

We are all for sending out personal cards, especially around the holidays. With Mixbook we are able to do that and do it without breaking the bank! We were given the chance to order some Holiday Photo Cards and while I knew that I wouldn't get the kids to take a great picture, I could use these cards to display the silly pictures of the kids. We ended up getting a few good pictures instead of all silly ones, so the cards turned out great.
We will be sending these to the closest family, along with a few friends. The cards turned out amazingly well. I had my doubts, seeing as I had never ordered from there nor have I actually heard too much about them. So I spent a few hours browsing the Holiday Photo Card section, before finally deciding on one card that we all liked. We decided on the Delicate Plaid card since we all like blue. We reviewed the 30 pack which is 21.60, it may seem like a high price, but when you are putting three photos on the card, it makes sense.
The cards that we received were printed on Smooth Matte paper, which is glossy in it's own right and isn't overly slick. The paper really feels a little thicker than the card stock you can buy at the store. The cards do tear very easily, so make sure you are careful when putting them in the included envelopes.
At Mixbook you can totally customize any and all of their cards. Like a certain design, but not the layout? Then change it! Want to see a different text on the card you fell in love with? Change it too!!
I love that no matter what I can customize any of the cards to my liking!
