Blog Tour: Eternal Rider by Larissa Ione w/ Q&A; and Giveaway

As part of her blog tour for Eternal Rider, Larissa took the time to answer a few off the wall questions for us.

Favorite line from a book: I honestly can't think of one. There are just so many books that stand out in my mind that contain clever lines. I can at least narrow it down to anything by Sharon Kay Penman. She's my favorite historical author, and every line of hers is just brilliant.
Book that changed your life: Salem's Lot, by Stephen King. This book introduced me to the horror genre and gave me the courage to try my hand at writing.
Book you've bought for the cover: The first one was Robert Jordan's Eye of the World. I have a thing for blue covers, and that one was just gorgeous.

On your nightstand now: My Kindle, which is currently on a re-read of Enclave, by Ann Aguirre (awesome dystopian YA.)

Favorite book when you were a child: Old Bones (about a racehorse.)

I got the chance to read a copy of Larissa's newest book Eternal Rider, here's a little about the book before we get to my review:

They are here. They ride. The Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse.

His name is Ares, and the fate of mankind rests on his powerful shoulders. If he falls to the forces of evil, the world falls too. As one of the Four Horsemen of the Apocalypse, he is far stronger than any mortal, but even he cannot fight his destiny forever. Not when his own brother plots against him.

Yet there is one last hope. Gifted in a way other humans can't-or won't-understand, Cara Thornhart is the key to both this Horseman's safety and his doom. But involving Cara will prove treacherous, even beyond the maddening, dangerous desire that seizes them the moment they meet. For staving off eternal darkness could have a staggering cost: Cara's life.

I have loved Larissa's books since picking up the first in the Demonica Series, and as sad as I was to see that amazing series end; I am happy to start on this new series with her. Lords of Deliverance starts off with Eternal Rider. At first it was a little hard for me to get into the book, but once I caught on I couldn't put it down. Larissa brings a whole new light to the Four Horsemen, and as always there are some pretty steamy scenes!!

I love that Larissa made one of the Horsemen a woman and that all of the Horsemen are related. I can't wait for the next installment:)
