Book Review: Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball by Donita K. Paul

Price: $14.99
Format: Hardcover
ISBN: 9780307458995
Release: 10.5.2010

I recently had the chance to read and review this wonderful book. I normally don't read Christian based books, but this one really hooked me from the beginning.
The book focus' on the lives of the two main characters Cora; a born again Christian struggling with her faith and family; and Simon; her boss' boss. Simon is firm in his faith and loves his family.
When both characters that have worked together for years and never really interacted with each other both end up in the same book store at the same time, things start to get a little "weird".
They each find two tickets to a ball in their packages when they are at home. The Characters are fun and different in the book. Nobody knows nothing or heard anything about the ball, their is no ads or places to buy tickets just this certain street of shops provides them. Simon takes Cora tickets because she isn't going and he decides to take his sister who has down syndrome.

In my opinion, Two Tickets to the Christmas Ball is a modern-day Cinderella story that will keep you guessing from page 5 through page 205. It was a great book that warmed my heart the whole way through. I couldnt put this book down!

I received this book free from WaterBrook publishers as part of their Blogging for Books program.  I was not required to write a positive review. The opinions I have expressed are my own.

Thank you for the review, Melissa. I'm glad you enjoyed the story. I hope to be able to visit Sage Street again. I had a tremendous amount of fun writing abot the Wizbatterdads and the Booterbaw sisters.
